I was surprised to see my Trans Teal already listed in the database(45077)

My other stingray is E30759 which is Burnt Apple\Rosewood\black pickguard

I cant believe I had never found these forums before!

Yes, I would definitely say that your bass is a Honeyburst. Why the neck plate change, I don't know. But you have a very sweet bass there!

I will investigate further when I get a chance.

Dan

Thanks Dan. Tis very strange, indeed, but that aura seems to follow me around.... I'm not sure which is greater, my curiosity, or my concern about my warranty, since I registered the bass that I have in my possession under an incorrect serial #...

By the way Mynan, seems you were correct when you said Honeyburst. It just looks so much darker in person than it does in pictures, maybe my studio just needs better lighting :p

Gav, it wasn't supposed to be limited, but the paint later proved to be a problem in production, prompting the removal of it and another new color for that year, Gunsmoke. That was our first "gold and silver" duo, replaced in 2003 with Egyptian Smoke/Desert Gold and Graphite Pearl, more or less.

This particular bass was completed on 05/22/01. Probably not too many of these out there.
