I just bought this bass and i'm kinda curious about the birthdate, original pickguard and where it first landed. ;) My Stingray: E62562

Sorry for again a serial number. This will be my last one! ;)

Hi Dan. Got any interesting info about F11040? It's a Bongo 5HH in a very unique color.
- Thanks

LowMojo, Your bass is part of the second of the Limited Edition series, built on 10/7/04. The finish is called Envy Green. All the Envy Green Limited Edition II instruments were shipped around the latter half of 2004.

Nice piece! ;)

Re, I hope it is not your last ... it is no trouble at all to get your information! Your new bass was completed on 10/15/07 and was shipped to Guitar Emporium in Louisville. Kentucky (Louisville is also the home of the Louisville Slugger bat factory and the world's largest bat!)

Interesting. What was the reason for 2 series?

Interesting. What was the reason for 2 series?

The first year that we did Limited Editions (2004), we did 2 in the first year. In subsequent years we have done just 1 Limited Series a year. It's too much work to do more that that! We are currently offering our 6th Limited Series.

Hi Dan,

could you please look for the date of birth of my Stingray B 04876 ? Is natural the original color? thanks Dan....

causar, your bass was completed on 12/19/96 and the finish was called Natural Velvet. On that we did not use a glossy finish, but essentially just sprayed the basecoat on and buffed it .. it gave the basses a real "natural" look.

Hi All,

could you look please for the date of birth of my Stingray 5 piezo E53733?

I would be very grateful, I suspect that this is a 3 year old bass but not sure!

Thanks Adam
