Greetings,
I've got my eye on a Bongo serial #F15773.
Can you give me the low down on it?
Can you tell me if it has a piezo bridge?

Also, can you verify the info on F20866?
Many thanks for this cool service!
Steve

Steve, here's what our database tells us about #F15773: This is a Bongo 4 single H in Egyptian Smoke finish, no piezo, black ice pickguard, originally shipped to Pianos & Stuff Music in Pittsburgh, PA.

The info on F20866 is: StingRay 20th Anniversary rosewood matching in California Sunset finish. Shipped to The Perfect Bass in Baton Rouge, LA.

Hello everyone
I've been looking at an older music man sterling serial #43840 and was wondering if you could provide me with more information about the bass. Thanks for the help.
Johnny, this Sunburst Sterling bass was completed on 11/18/94 and was originally shipped to Sam Ash Music in Forest Hills, New York.

Hi everyone. This seems to be the best place to make a first post.

I have purchased my first new bass: Bongo #F18695. I completely fell in love with it's playability.

CDR, welcome to the Forum and congrats on your first EBMM! It was completed on 8/14/07 and was shipped to Russo's Guitar Center in Omaha, NE. The finish is called Candy Red and it should have a white ice pickguard.

Got a Bongo on the way with a serial #F09942
This will be the second for me. My first had a frozen truss rod so heres to hoping for a better one this time. I had a chance to play the first at one gig ( Harley dealership in Ohio) Talk about getting looks from my biker buddys!

Hi Dan,

F11218 arrived yesterday. I would like to confirm 09/04/09 as the build date and 162-D2-76-01 as the build code. Those are the numbers on the box, but I thought 71 was the code for MHS.

Thanks,
Bryan

Dave, congrats on your new Bongo. It was completed on 5/24/04 and was sent to Imperial Guitar in Newburgh, NY.

So whatever happened to the first one? Is there a way we could take a look at it? It's pretty weird that the trussrod "froze".

Hey there -

I'm new to the forums, but I've actually owned my SR5 for about 3 years. About time I bought it a birthday present, I suppose. :D

Serial #: E44340

Thanks!

Ahem...top of the page...:D

Bryan, sorry, man! The build codes are different for Bongos due the entire neck being painted. And yes, everything you listed is exactly what it should be. Congratulations on your new Dargie Bongo 5!
