I'm new to the forum and I'm about to purchase a Music Man Stingray bass which is supposed to date from 1986. I got this serial number: 25420
Can you tell me if this correct?
It's a red bass, but I was wondering what kind of red (car, dakota, fiesta etc.), if you could tell me that too, that would be awesome!

Hi and Welcome to the forum! This bass was done on April 17, 1987 and the color is called Translucent Red.
