I'm picking up my first ebmm tomorrow and would like some background on it if possible, dob, color, options, distributor etc would be great!
It's a sr5 serial 57902 according the seller.

My StingRay 4H is Stealth Black, has a 2-band EQ and what looks very much like an ebony fretboard with dots. The serial number E73097 suggests its date of birth to be around 2009-2010.

Can you help me with the actual DOB? Any other information regarding the bass is also highly appreciated (is it part of some type of limited run, how many were built, for which market etc.)!

It is hands down my favorite bass ever and I will keep it for the rest of my life.

DOB: 12/17/09 The Stealth Black package comes with an ebony fretboard as the normal option. This is currently something that is available to order on all Stingray. Sterling. and Bongo basses
