Can you tell me about original pick-up color on my EBMM SR5H (serial: 55778) when it was produced?
I got this bass used and it has significant scratch on the PU. So I can see that it is white inside and black outside. Should it be like that or maybe the previous owner "painted" it black?

My guess is that the previous owner painted the cover black- I don't think we ever used a cover that was 2 colors inside/ outside. Also, white-on-white pickguard & Pup cover was common for that finish in '95.
