August 26th, 2004. It does not have piezo. Piezo would have 3 stacked knobs.

The early "C" (Sabre) and "B" (Sting Ray) serial details were not kept. Unlike the Sting Ray, the Sabre serials don't even show an overall chronology. The only thing you can do is check the neck date on the neck heel and date in the neck pocket on the body. One of those dates may be absent. On very rare occassions there will be no dates at all.

Official colours were Natural, Sunburst, Black, White, Walnut (brown) and Inca Silver (which first appeared in 1979 for the Sabre).

Your bass was completed on June 6th, 2006. It's a stock Stingray 4 with ash body, maple neck and maple fretboard
