I'm a new owner of the gorgeous and great EBMM Stingray 5, serial is Е62348, color is "pearl dark grey" w/matching headstock.

Can you answer:
- date of birth
- have it an alnico or ceramic magnets?
- what a proper name of body color "grey", "pearl platinum" or something else?

SR5s shipped as from 12 March 2008 have switched from Ceramic pickups to Alnico (Initially all SR5's had been Alnico but changed to Ceramic circa 1992).
E62669...15 May 2008. Lava Pearl with Rosewood. Matching headstock. Black Ice pg.

So this info isn't correct?

And what about wood used on body?

This is a normal Stingray 5 in black, completed on June 15th, 2005. The pickup is ceramic and the body is ash. It was originally sent to Guitar Center.

Our serial numbers are not chronological. I doubled checked each serial number and all dates listed above are correct.
