Trans White ?

hello all,
this is my first post here. always wanted to know when my trusty old ~93 maple-necked SR5 was born exactly. I believe it is the somewhat rare "Mary Kay White" or "Trans White" finish.
also, is there any obtainable info on what pickup and electronics it has ?
SN is 52288.

thanks very much in advance,
lowstar

and, of course, because no pics=no bass:

That comes up as being built on March 22nd, 1991. There is not a name for the color in the system, merely says "special" which is what anything out of the ordinary was labeled as at the time. It's definitely trans white/Mary Kay white though. It should have the ceramic pickup.

I just bought a new Classic Stingray 4, Classic Candy (Red) with Roasted Birdseye Neck. Serial # B0582807. Could you please tell me when she was born?

Thanks

Is that perhaps B052807? If so it was completed on January 11, 2011

You know after thinking about this I'm confused on the date. I just bought this bass new from Guitar Center and it is pristine, it is brand new. How could it have been completed in 2011 and just put into a store for sale in 2014? I triple checked the serial number and B052807 is it.

The color is called Black Cherry Burst, the body is ash, the neck is maple, it was originally shipped to Musician's Friend... what would you like to know?

It could have sat in their distribution center warehouse for years? That's where it shipped to. From there GC will send pieces out to individual stores and it might have just slipped through the cracks and was forgotten about. Its definitely a 2011. We only did that finish one year.

Can I get a birthday for my new baby? F42542

Hi all...
I have a stingray 5 with serial number on the bridge 54161 I bought it in 1996 and I am curious to know the exact or near enough date it was made.
I think it's classed as a honey sunburst (bright red fading to orange) maple neck with the odd bit of Birdseye on the back of the neck.
