August 4, 1995... we don't offer kits to add a humbucker if that's what you're asking?

Hello

I'm Pat. I just registered.

I Just inherited an Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray 5 bass. It says Made in San Luis Obispo, CA on the headstock. And the serial number is 52207. I need to know the date of manufacturer and what type of wood the body, fretboard, and neck are. I think its from 1991 and has a humbucker Please confirm and add whatever other info you may have in your records.

Thank You

Uuups, I did it again....

Hallo A.J.

Uuups, I did it again, just couldn't resist. :D

I bought a used Musicman Stingray 5 Classic from a fellow bassman of a german bassmans-comunity. I don't have lots of information about the bass, just that is it a Sringray Classic 5 in Vintage Burst with the most beautiful all-maple - neck I have ever seen.

If you please would give me some informations about this beautiful bass? Date of birth, kind of pickup (thinking about AlNiCo-Pu), wiring of he PU and please about the material of the frets. There are pretty small vintage-type frets on the maple - fingerboard, I wonder about the material they are made of.

The seller told me that he purchased the bass last year at Station Music in Germany. The Serial Number is B055459.

OK, so this one is my third Musicman-Bass, and I still feel like needing a Bongo 5 and a Reflex 5 in HSS. No End to be seen... :)

Thank you in advance, greetings from Germany

Uwe
