I have also a fretless stingray bought around 1993, but i can't find any serial on it, active eq hi, mid low, pau-ferro fretboard, neck joint with musicman logo and six screws and nickel plate battery with two screws...any idea of the build year?

Check the bridge under the saddles on the Stingray.
