It's a pretty early JP6, that I bought used. But I know neither the production date nor the pickups.

I was hoping to find out the year it was manufactured.
Stingray 4 string 3 band EQ
Serial # E85651

February 28th,2 011

Hello, I'm very interested to know when my Stingray SUB was made. The serial number seems to be X00269.

May 8th, 2003

I recently picked up a Stingray 4; the previous owner claimed it to be a 1992 and I'm guessing that's probably close. It's a Blueburst, lacquer-finished neck, and the bridge has mutes.

Serial # is 34456

Thanks in advance!

February 21st, 1992

classic 4 B052433
Also, when did the classic 5 and 4 first come out.
Thanks!

Hi!
I hope you can help me ... I'm negotiating a "StingRay HH 5" which, according to the seller, is 2008.
The problem is that the picture of the serial number is blurred and he did not send me a new one yet.
The serial number (in the second photo) ends in 55572, but can not identify the first character.

I'm worried if the instrument is genuine or not.

I appreciate the help!

Hiya

Many thanks for providing this service.

I'm very lucky to have purchased a new rosewood necked 3EQ Stingray in natural.

It sits well alongside my Cherryburst Sterling with matching headstock, a bass I've owned twice and I'm intent on keeping hold of this time. (She's F06634).

It'd be nice to know the DoM of the 'Ray'. E92823.

Both the bodies seem to be one piece which is nice too. Would they both be ash?

I'll take a photo when I get a chance.

Many thanks

Peter

my stingray serial is BO 21780 what year is it does anyone know?could it be a 1977?

This is probably not a 77. You can pull off the neck and check the heel of the neck and the neck pocket of the body for date stamps. We won't have records of basses produced before Ernie Ball acquired Music Man.

Looks like E55572 (it would start with E) but that serial number brings up a four string in our system.

October 24th, 1994. There is no mention of whether the neck is conversion varnish or oil and wax. It could be either one.

Ok, he told me the serial number: E65672

That is correct! April 29th, 2008

I've bought a Stingray 5 with serial number E59348, but I only can find the serial number on the back of the bass on the iron screwboard, not on the neck. I don't know if this is normal?

Greetings

My bass is Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray 42891.

Can you please tell me when (and perhaps where) it was made.

Cheers
