Hello! Just got a beautiful stingray and wanted to know the year. On the neck seemed like there was 198* stamped couldn't read it clearly because it was blurry. There is also checking on the paint so im thinking mid 80s. But here is the serial # that was in the bridge: 50596. Thanks!

The serial number should be B051147; April 23rd, 2010

January 13th, 1989, listed as Sunburst (we now call it Honey Burst), fretboard and neck are maple, there is no mention of body wood but it is probably ash. The pickup is Alnico.

Howdy folks,

EB MM Stingray 4. I'm genuinely in love, she's been my main bass since I got her four/five years ago. Would love to know 100% the materials and date of birth. The only thing I'm reasonably sure of is the neck is Rosewood.

Can someone verify my Musicman Luke is indeed a Musicman Luke 1 Reissue Pearl Blue?
