I have just bought a Stingray, serial number 25548.

Can you please tell me the date manufactured, model number, original colour, original neck, other original parts and who it was first sold to?

I have a Sterling with serial number F04712. Any information is appreciated. I think the body of the bass was replaced a number of years ago and is now a sparkle blue. Thank you.

Hi, I bought my first music man bass 2 days ago and am looking for the back story of the bass. It's a music man stingray 5 in natural finish. Serial number is e78793

Your StingRay 2EQ was completed on March 7th, 2007. The color is honey burst with the rosewood fretboard and white pickguard. The model number is 130-70-20-02. It was originally shipped with the case, warranty registration card and Ernie Ball Music Man stickers. The specifications are consistent with the ones we are producing currently.



Your StingRay HS was completed on October 10th, 2007. The color is natural gloss with the maple neck and white pickguard. It was originally sold to Guitar Center.



Your Sterling was completed on March 3rd, 2015. The color is stealth black with the ebony fretboard. It was originally sold to Bass Central.



March 31st, 2009.



Your StingRay 3EQ was completed on June 22nd, 2004. The color is vintage sunburst with the rosewood fretboard.

This StingRay 2EQ was completed on September 1st, 1987. The color is sunburst with the maple neck. It was originally sold to Strings & Things LTD.

This StingRay 5 was completed on March 6th, 2001. The color is black with the rosewood fingerboard. The body wood is a mix of ash, alder and poplar. It was originally sold to Airport Music Center.
