Excited to hear about this classic wood grain music man bass I have. It's one of the originals I believe. Birdseye maple neck. Always wondered what year it was from and what it may actually be worth.

Just picked up a used left-handed stingray. I think the serial number that I can find is L00360
I was very curious of what year it is and any other information that can be provided. I bought it from a music shop and they were unsure of the year. I am absolutely loving this base and want to know more about it. Any information that you can provide is greatly appreciated.

This StingRay 3EQ was completed on July 18th, 2006. It's limited edition black with the rosewood fretboard and matching headstock with gold hardware. The body wood is Ash. It was originally shipped to Vintage Bass.

This StingRay HH was completed on February 21st, 2006. The color is sapphire black with the maple neck. It was originally shipped to High Tech.

This Sterling 5 was completed on May 28th, 2008. The color is radiance red with the lined fretless neck. It was originally shipped to Jam Industries.

This StingRay 3EQ was completed on May 22nd, 2003. The color is vintage sunburst with the maple neck. It was originally shipped to EM Nordic.

I would love to know the date of birth and specification of my Ernie Ball StingRay. I purchased it second hand between sometime between '94 & '96 for £300'ish (give or take £100, I can't remember) which I was told was a bargain and it's still gigging today.

It has 4eq's and it's black with a black pickguard. I assume it's rosewood but I wouldn't know how to tell. The black paint glows green when UV light is shone on it. I was informed a long time ago that it was made in 1989.

S/N: 26927.

This Stingray 3EQ was completed on January 9th, 1989. The color is black and our database is showing that it was originally shipped with a maple neck. At that time we were using mainly Ash for the body, but occasionally Alder or Poplar was used for the body wood. It was originally shipped to Strings & Things.

This S.U.B. 2EQ passive bass was completed on October 13th, 2004. The color is textured black with the rosewood black painted neck & diamond plate pickguard. It was originally shipped to Guitar Center.

This StingRay 3EQ was completed on August 4th, 1998. The color is natural with the rosewood fretboard and birdseye maple neck. The body wood is Ash. It was originally shipped to E U Wurlitzer Inc.

This left-handed StingRay 3EQ was completed on March 27th, 1997. The color is translucent red with the maple neck. The body wood is Ash. It was originally shipped to Veneman Music Co.
