This StingRay 3EQ was completed on January 11th, 1988. The color is black with the maple neck.

This one appears to be a pre Ernie Ball serial number, unfortunately we don't have records for the basses made before we took over the company. There is usually a date stamp in the neck pocket and beneath the pickup that will give you an idea of the production time. There is also a great reference site for pre Ernie Ball instruments, SERIALS Pre-EB - Musicmanbass.org, Music Man, Musicman, Music Man Bass, Musicman Bass, Music Man Guitar.
