Hi, 1st post ever!

Looking for DOB and any additional details for the following Lefties:

Sabre: C 005001

Stingray: L 00345

Thank you for your help!!
Carmine

Sabre: C 005001 - This serial number appears to be a Pre Ernie Ball bass. Unfortunately there were no production date records kept for those. There is usually a date stamp in the neck pocket and beneath the pickup that will give you an idea of the production date. There is also a great reference website for pre Ernie Ball basses, http://musicmanbass.org/mycustompage0052.htm

Stingray: L 00345 - This Lefty StingRay 3EQ was completed on June 27th, 1997. The color is sunburst with the rosewood fretboard. It was originally shipped to Guitar Center.

Hello, also my first time posting.

Looking for info on my Stingray 4, 3EQ, Black with maple, Serial: E00702

Purchased new October 1998 in either NC or SC USA (I'm thinking NC but that trip is a bit of a blur now!)

This StingRay 3EQ was completed on March 26th, 1998. The color is black with the maple neck. It was originally shipped to Reliable Music in Charlotte, NC.

Could you please advise on MM Sub 4, X03491? Made in SLO. Suspecting late 90's but I'm not sure of timeline, or even how many SUBs were made in SLO.

Killed some time at Sam Ash while vacationing in Orlando today, trying to get my ears on a variety of basses other than the new stuff on the GC racks back home. I've been looking for a bass that can take some heavy picking without giving up the bottom end or getting too ringy. (I've got a pseudo-Rickenbacker for that niche).

Wow. Lined up against a new MIA Jass, MIA P, MIM Jass, Stingray 5, this guy stood above all. I just couldn't put it down, so I took it home.

Please provide me with as much information about these basses as you can:

E43237
E43240
E43439

The two first ones are what seem like a limited edition model since they have strings thru body.

Thanks!

Hi, My first post. I'm the original owner of Stingray 28479, purchased in Manchester UK in the late 80's. Would love to know it's actual date of birth.
