Wow!

I would rather not see this model come to an end. It's a great guitar and a super value. But, I have to accept the rationale provided.

Since I let the Silo go a few weeks ago, I realized I missed it. So, I shopped around and found a SUB 1 for a decent price and bought it. I just unpacked it today and played it for an hour or so. I like this rosewood neck even more than the maple Silo neck. And even though the body isn't sculpted like the Silo it is still a great guitar in it's own right. All original and practically new, I love it. Mine is graphite HH with black pickguard and trem. I'm very glad I got it before they get scarce.

Talk about getting one in the nick of time. Whew!!

Sad to hear, but you do what ya gotta do! The SUB was the first EBMM I ever played and I was really impressed. Sounded great and played great and you couldn't beat the price either!

A dealer brought up the point today that he thought that people either went for the regular EBMM line guitars or they were buyers that wanted something cheaper than the SUBs. I don't know how true that is, but it seems to make a certain amount of sense. It's just a bit sad to see the line go away.

Im glad I got a SUB while I did and I am very happy I got it. It was my first EB and for the moment the only EB I have but thats going to change soon. It was a nice entry to EB but you got to do what you got to do.

Amen!

BP, the world would be a better place if there were more businessmen like you.

I sincerely hope that this never comes to pass. One of things I'm most proud of and pleased with about my EBMMs is the "Made in San Luis Obispo" decal.
