Hiya,

We're working on getting some of our choice Music Man guitars pics turned in to desktop wallpaper for people to download - partly to spread the word about our shop but mainly cause we're just nice like that :)

So, here they are:

Music Man guitar wallpaper.

Hopefully we'll get a new one up every week or so but we've got some nice BFRs up at the moment.

Thanks for the kind words :)

We've built a photographic studio at the shop and spent a lot of time to get quality photos. I reckon if you want people to spend a lot of money online you need to show them what they're buying in proper detail.

Hi! I have tried hard to take really nice photos of my EBMM guitar collection (see DiBart.com), but your photos are 100 times better than mine... Your photos are just perfect and brilliant and stunning. Can you tell us more about your photo studio in the shop? Can you give us a little of your inside tricks on how you illuminate the guitar (standard flash won't do) and avoid reflections and get such amazing quality?!? What equipment do you use?

We're all huge EBMM fans and would love to learn how to better photograph our balls! ;)

Really nice lighting on those shots. Sweet stuff! Can't wait to see how you capture Mystic Dream or the Barolo finish on the JPX!

Great site Jeff!

We've got a nice selection of kit for the product shots. We use a Canon EOS 1D with a EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM lens. More importantly though is the lighting - a couple of high powered strobes (one with a massive softbox and the other with a reflective umbrella).

I'm really anal about the shots and spend a lot of time moving the lights to get the right balance of reflections. The hardest thing is to get rid of unwanted reflections of the room - it's mostly experimenting with different angles but having a large room to work in with dark walls helps.
