I haven't had a TV at my place for almost 4 years now. I'm definitely addicted to my Y2D.
same, started out with a bare bones JP6 in a red wine sunburst (whatever the actual colour is called) best neck I ever felt, sold it because I didn;t dig the colour and bought 3 EBMM's within a month, a DDII Silo, Roasted Black Sugar JP6, and a DDII Jp6...have a HH Al in my sights...

When got my first Music Man I did sell off my other brands rather quickly and then trade or buy a few more Balls. I have since added a non-EBMM guitar to the fold, but I don't play it as much as the Silhouettes.

I am currently suffering with this too. Ask Pete DuBaldo, he sold me three Balls in a one month period! Only non-EBMM guitar I have and will keep is my Suhr. The Albert Lee HH replaced my Les Paul with ease!

My problem with getting rid of any other guitars is my wife bought me my S+r@+ and one of my LPs was built on the same day my son was born and the other LP was my first electric so its tough to get rid of them. But I have been thinking about it.

My balls are constantly growing.The necks on these guitars always feel great to me even from model to model.I have a jp,axis ss,silhouette and a luke and I love them all.I would love to add a y2d and a silo special this summer.

I know the feeling. At one point I had 5 Axis/evh guitars. I'm down to one now and I definitely want another of the same model. Having trouble finding one in a color and price that I like and can afford.

Well, in my humble opinion, you should keep your first electric. Everything else must go. Your wife will understand, or she will soon be replaced with a MM, too.

The only non-MM I have left is a '76 Gubson SG Custom. It's tattooed on my entire forearm, so I kind of feel like someday when I'm dead, that one might be important to one of my sons. Otherwise I'd sell her in a minute...
Seriously though, maybe if you explain to her that you only like MM guitars now, and let her pick out which MM will replace the guitar she gave you as a gift. Tollie, keeping the marriages alive here on the forum.

I totally understand how people feel about being attached to a guitar. It's not easy to let a sentimental guitar go.
If I'm not too attached to a guitar, I just let her go. Better that non-MM go to someone who'll play her than for me to keep her as a closet queen.

I'm expecting my 3rd one in a few weeks ... this after getting my first one only a few months ago. LOL
