BP, I see you have a painted 20th Silo, very nice, might we see some pictures of that sometime???

Glenn |B)

Just looks like a Silo special to me.

Great article though - and certainly I try to put a lot of those service values into Machinehead.

Is this an older article, or did they mean to print '2007' in those few places where mention '2006'? (the 2nd question, in particular)

Excellent article, great point of view. Esp love the bit about NAMM having a seal of approval/standards for guitars so that kids can pick one up at a local store ... and just play.

"R&D in the guitar industry usually consists of a paint can and a new country of origin."

I love that. Great read. I also like the idea of a public day at NAMM.

Brilliant! You think you could help me with my restaurant? I need a new front of house manager;) Now, how many of you bought Dargie's Delight?

BP, I knew you were good at making guitars, basses, strings, etc.....but I didn't realize how good you are at marketing. Again, all I can say is wow!

NAMM’s legal counsel doesn’t think this is feasible, but I think they should hire lawyers who can show them how to do it.

That was the most polite attempt at mass murder I've ever seen.

:D

When I was working out in north BFE*, up to my neck in alligators and whatnot, I'd call back to my 'office' near DC and usually connect with a bunch of people whose sole purpose seemed to be explaining why I couldn't do what needed to be done - or why I couldn't do what I was already doing.

Vast numbers of people make long careers out of the evil art of explaining why it can't be done.

If it can be done and it should be done, then let's get the naysayers out of the damned way and see if we can figure out HOW it can be done!

Nice job, boss. Some very subtle zingers in there.
