this is why "douche" is my current favorite word

That's my current favorite word too. My wife and I have been trying to cut down on bad language around our 17 month old daughter, since we've come to realize she understands a lot more than she can repeat, and we'd hate to hear some of our particularly colorful words come back to haunt us. Douche somehow seems less objectionable than the alternatives, but equally descriptive. Certainly describes someone who would start a beginner on an unlined fretless.

its a great word. im bordering on using it too much. but i still like it

I most probably would have answered "yep, exactly"...


...and as evidence touched a couple of notes from Tony Levin's great line to "Don't Give Up"...




...or just silently wondered at the vast amount of wisdom offered...
