Hey guys,

I have been gigging and recording regularly with an amazing blue Axis guitar. I played at Camden Underworld last night in support of the 80's Metal band 'House of Lords'. The show was great and I got loads of comments about how cool the guitar sounded. The band i was playing lead guitar for is a great Hard Rock band called Kinkade and Jimmy the lead singer is the Vaut Master for the Hard Rock cafe here in London UK.

I absolutely love this guitar and I cant imagine playing rock without it! Only problem is I cant stop abusing the whammy bar!

Let me know what you think

I just gigged with it for the first time. I used to use a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier but wanted to change my tone to something a little more articulate and warm sounding (Van Halen, Aerosmith, Satch tone). That amp is 50 watts and fits into a little bag. The other band had an insane amount of rack gear, pedals etc. Everyone thought the THD sounded amazing, I think its becasue a 50 watt amp driven hard is better than a 100 watt amp sitting in its comfort zone.

I also really like the Peavey 6505 for a more modern vibe, recording with both of those amps sounds great!

JP interview I have but I cant let you download the edit I have as it would be breach copyright on all the DT music on there!

I however have an edit of that particular interview with no music. If you want it send me a message with your e-mail and I can send it to you.

I have some great shows coming up with Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert, Dan Hawkins (Darkness). Michael Schenker

I was just on his site the other day, can't wait for the new album. It's good to see him back and in the public eye, I remember reading about some pretty heinous crap that went on in his life.

Armed and Ready is one of my favorite leads of all time :D:D

Awesome!

I used to work for Hard Rock a few years back and smuggled a little practice amp in there. I love the vibe of that guitar! the inlays are awesome.

I used to play Jeff Beck's tele all day long, those were the days.

I hope some of that Hendrix magic mojo rubbed off on you.

Ive been using the Axis so much and I love the sounds I been getting, really great big fat hard rock vibe!

We are trying to blag ourselves onto the bill early in the day for Hard Rock Calling in Hyde Park. We have some more dates at Camden Underworld with the Black Molly's you guys should come down and check out some shred! Its always a pleasure playing guitar with Jimmy= he is a big character!...loads of energy

That would be cool!

Awesome! That Strat recorded the Layla riff and on the neck plate it had the serial 019!!!!! old guitar!

The tele is really comfortable and still sounds awesome.
