HI,
I placed an order for a supersport M90 in october through a semi local dealer - can someone maybe give me a clue as to when I might expect it if that info is available? It is a trans orange left hand m90 supersport with a maple board and was ordered through the 12th fret in toronto.

Thanks:D

The dealer you placed the order with will have this information (12th fret in this case)...that's who you need to contact.

Hey Nick, another Torontonian... welcome.

Like brasco said, the 12th Fret will know the details. I just said this to another forum member... good luck with the panic attacks. But the wait will be worth the custom order.

thx for the feedback - I have contacted the 12th fret a few times with no info forthcoming. I realize that with NAMM and the holidays in Dec - things may be a little behind - I was just hoping to get some info fro the horses mouth as they say since my dealer hasn't really been responsive.
Browndog - I am actually in Mtl - being a lefty it had to be a special order and I went with the fret based on their feedback - we'll see how it turns out.

Just stay on them. They're a good dealer. They will have to inquire and let you know about delivery times.

No doubt that you'll be pretty happy when the wait is over

News from the 12th fret is that the build has been delayed. Nothing more specific than that - my sales guy said he would speak to EBMM and get back to me 2 days ago - still waiting on news from him.
Waaaah.

Hey Nick,

As Beej said they are a good dealer. Not to make excuses for them but this is posted on the for sale page of their website. Just so you know what they deal with.

"Email remains the best way to keep in touch with us but our response time can vary from several hours to several days. We receive as many as 200 emails a day and have a hard time keeping up. Normally if you don't hear back from us in 2 or 3 days, it is safe to assume that your email is buried deep in our In Box. Simply email again to serve as a second reminder that you require a response and hopefully we will answer promptly ... or if that fails, call us by telephone. We check our voice mail every morning around 11:00 local time."

Not sure what the delay on the build would have been. If you don't hear anything today, and you know the name of the employee, give them a call. I'm sure they'll get an answer for ya.

Ya, it's tough. I know (from dealing with them over the years) that they are always swamped. That said, it's your money, so I wouldn't hesitate to press them on more information. They're not always going to know an exact date but should be able to deliver you a good customer service experience - just stay on them.

Man, I remember their old store ... they used to offer a build your own guitar course that I took with my dad when I was young. Totally wild, you did everything - put in the truss rods, fret work, basically everything but finish work. One of my best memories ever. Sorry about the hijack there ...

I just got word from the 12th fret that there was some problem witht he order and someone along the line somewhere dropped the ball and the order was never placed. Good thing I kept emailing them or they might not have eve noticed. 4 months gone by and no progress.

I really hope that this one turns out great - you know when you visualize a really beautiful guitar in your mind's eye and the anxiety when you are about to open the case for the first time. I hope EBMM makes me proud.

I forgot to mention - I am a lefty (ok go for it ... I have seen the lefty threads).
I see drumcityguitarland has a good amount of lefties in stock but being in Canada - I don't know that they are allowed to sell outside of the US - and I don't feel like getting nailed with duties and extra shipping charges. I am also ready to order a JP w/piezo - but I doubt I will go back to the fret after this. it always took 2-3 emails to get a response and had I not kept on them - they never would have known about this.
SO in short - being a lefty canuck = being screwed I guess... it's like Canadian bacon all over again...

I am cool with the whole lefty thing... but Canadian? Well that's something else entirely.

Just kidding, I hope this works out for you.

It's unusual for the 12th Fret, but they definitely dropped the ball.

Nick, send me a PM. I've got a buddy that works at the 12th Fret. If you don't want to deal with The Fret, fair enough. I've got some suggestions that might help ya out.
