Hey all,
I have started a Musicman Bass page on myspace. It is very much a work in progress. If you get a chance drop by and add a friend request. I will need pics of MM basses, gig shots, anything MM bass related. I would also like to get some music if anyone has any music of themselves jamming on an MM to add to the page. I hope to get this page looking really good so please send my any suggestions. The address is http://www.myspace.com/musicmanbasses

Hi,

Great idea. MarkBass has a MySpace page as well. So be sure to befriend them, too. Here's one of my pictures...

Ok, i'm gonna try to go for the not so obvious. How about Jesse Buglione of Lagwagon, Darrin Morris of Big Drill Car and Joe Lally of Fugazi.....

The late [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRRgPk2z_us"]YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.[/nomedia] from Chic was another famous MM player. And although [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNQRfBAzSzo"]YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.[/nomedia] from Queen was seen most of the times with a Fender, he recorded the classic "Another One Bites The Dust" bassline (based on Chic's "Good Times") with a StingRay.

Another player for the list

[nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBAasek8NR4"]YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.[/nomedia] (spelling OK) from Supertramp played Fenders and Rickenbackers, but when the band reached the peak of their popularity with "Breakfast In America", he was playing a StingRay.

BTW, that guy Marco Rodi you put in your site is awesome, lamerjay! Never heard about him before. Maybe some fellow bassists can see his show as a wankfest, but I think it's very tasty, well executed and with a clever use of effects.
