That metal necked monstrosity would be a failure in Canada. :p

It's never good when your fretting hand sticks and freezes to the neck of your bass during an outdoor gig in the middle of a Neil Young or Gordon Lightfoot song.:eek:

Hmmmm..... HEATED trussrods.:rolleyes: I had better get to the patent office!:D

why would you ask a question like that? do you really think the people at Music Man are stupid, and lack the intelligence to build stable instruments? they have a great track record, and make instruments that kick the butts of other competitors. you need to give the people at Music Man a lot more credit, they deserve it!

We did the Math...

Bongo 6 vs Bongo 5

The tension increase by the additional C string= 16%.
The material increase in the 6 string neck= 20%

The answer- Yes, it's more than strong enough to handle the additional load!
