for Musicman basses, what is the best way to care for the body of the bass (a 30th edition, in particular)? Can I use wax from GC on it, or will that mess up the finish? The body and pickguard are extremely prone to fingerprinting, so I want to give it a lwayer of wax that is a bit tougher.

Also, what should I use to moisturize the fretboard and neck? It needs a little conditioning.

I tried searching, but I suck at it, so I figured i would post instead. So sue me :p

Use lemon oil on the fretboard of your 30th.

The FAQ (which is found off the main Ernie Ball website, not the Music Man website for some bizarre reason) has a lot of stuff about maintaining necks, but a lot of it doesn't apply to the 30th because it's got a gloss finish neck. IIRC the Dargies have a regular oil/wax finish neck, though, so that info will apply to your DD.

I think that wax from GC wouid be fine...but waxing or polishing your guitar isn't going to make it immune to fingerprints. Just wipe it off every time you put it away.

I know it wont make it immune, but with my previous basses, it certainly has helped out.
