I noticed this on the SC website, I'm in Leeds, we have two branches and I've never seen a EBMM guitar in either.

Blindlemon, is there any chance of a demo in Leeds in the future?

Dude, they're clearing out SUB1's at less than used prices right now but you'll probably need to cal up.

Just checked the website, great price, all out of stock at the moment - probably a good thing, I've only just finished paying for my Luke.

The 'it was a bargain' line is wearing a bit thin with Mrs O!

Is it a full EBMM demo in Glasgow or just the Subs?

If there's a sniff of the BFR's then a trip to Glasgow would be very attractive! :D

Cheers Dude, hope to see you there.

Thanks for the info guys, much appreciated.

The lure of seeing this wonderful pair of BFR's may just prove too powerful to resist a trip to Glasgow...

I was there very briefly (Mrs Starsky was on a shopping run).

Got there around 11am and there was a tasty collection of EBMMs on display - BFR JP6, an AL, a few Axi, a Morse and some Subs along with a Luke (not the BFR unfortunately).

The BFR JP6 looked very nice, I had a feel of the finished neck which although very different to the regular JP was silky smooth.

Nobody around at that point, I guess they were getting everything ready, but I popped back in an hour or so later and the guys were busy with prospective new customers.

I didn't hang around with there being no BFR Luke, but great to see the interest and exposure for EBMM up here.

*knock knock*..... Can I come in? I'm just newly registered after months of lurkin' as a guest! :)

Strange place to do my intro perhaps, but I was amongst the keen Musicman faithful on Saturday.

What a day! Never a more enjoyable day in a music store have I had, and it'll take some beating. I had a fantastic time chatting to Paul and the head sales Guru who travelled with him (fantastic bloke, but never caught his name ).

As far as EBMM axe's go, I'm a Sub 1 owner of just four weeks now. Had my eye on them for over a year, and watched them go for good money on the 'bay. Thankfully managed to grab a damn fine Single HB/Hardtail number in black last month in the Glasgow store. What an axe! What a deal! What a shame i'm pants!

So, on to Saturday.... as a massive JP fan, i was thrilled to noodle around unplugged with the BFR JP. Stunning guitar, and in the circumstances was happier to hand it over to the incredibly capable Paul for a full-tilt demo. What can I say; I could soooo see how that guitar is a honestly viable workhorse, even at the price where some may limit their use as an investment.

We had a flawless [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPGA3vjMLgE"]YouTube - Paul Gilbert - Scarified[/ame] run through on Paul's own Steve Morse axe, and he happily indulged me with a request to repeat the finger wrenchin' workout on a nearby Sub 1, pausing only to chortle as he reached for the non-existant pickup selector on the single HB Sub! Genuinely top fella, and a great knowledge holder.

I really appreciate the time the two chaps gave me, discussing a mind melting amount of info with someone demonstrating almost OCD levels of triv!

Thanks chaps, this whole EBMM family rocks.

Welcome Sticky, good to see another Scot on here.

At this rate we'll soon need to form the SBOC*. :D

Let's hope the guys made some new sales on Saturday to add to the Scottish owners contingent.
