Hi, this is my first post in the forum.
I have acquired recently a 91' MM EVH. The guitar is great, but needs a refretting. I know the radius in EVH signature and Axis is 10', but my guitar have a little irregular radius, more 12' than 10' (in the first frets the fretboard has 10-11 radius, as it advances is more flattened). I don't know if the frets are the originals, but look like a professional work. Also I have see the MM licensed Floyd Rose and blocked nut have a 12-14 radius. My doubt is if this is normal or if fingerboard levelling could be created by a previous refretting.

Thanks in advance.

sounds like it has been given a compound radius, this may have been on purpose during a refret or an accident during a refret...

thanks Colin,
really it's not a big problem. I have big experience with refretting and I will correct the little irregularities.
But I would like to know the exact original specifications of the guitar from other owners before making the work. I would like to know which is the Floyd Rose radius in the EVH signatures (yours, for example. Awesome guitar). The EBMM Floyd in my EVH is the original and have a 15'' radius.
This makes me think that originally the guitar had 10'' fretboard radius and 15'' Floyd bridge radius.
My question is: are these the standard radius specifications in all the EVH?.
If the answer is yes, I would consider to be normal that a previous owner should smooth the fretboard.
Any answer?
