Did you change them one at a time, or did you take all of the strings off at once? And you changed them with the same gauge (.010"-.046") strings?

Yes I made the mistake of removing all the strings before cleaning and restringing! For some random weird reason the pick-up nearest the floating bridge was more raised on bottom screw. Anyway, screw tightened a couple of turns and it seems to have cured the issue. D addario EXL 116 strings replaced and sounding much better

Definitely make sure that the bridge plate itself is in the notch on the post, as that is usually the reason why suddenly action is super low. Pickups rarely raise themselves like that.

Agreed…. But the pick-up was definitely slightly higher on the bottom screw. A slight adjustment and it’s sweet now! I was quite stressed as it’s something I have never seen before
