As well as the model of pickup, it depends on the guitar you put them in, and whether you connect with the overall sound. I tried the DG set in a Strat type guitar with the SPC control, but I didn't like it at all. A surprise to me as a big fan of EMGs I thought I'd love it, but no. In the Luke though, it just works for me.
