Hi all,

First of all I am new to this forum and want to say "Hi" to everybody :)

I am planning to buy a Majesty in the very near future and like the white one most.
As the Majesty might become my main guitar I am concerned that the white finish
might get a muddy look (especially the neck) after a couple months when played regularly.
Any experiences from other Majesty players? Please tell me that my concern is ungrounded :)

Thanks,
Stefan

I've had mine since last July. The only thing I've noticed is a very slight polishing effect where my bridge fingers are laying below the high E. You have to hold it up to the light to even see it. There is the same effect where I rest my forearm, however, it is even harder to notice. This is typical with matte finish guitars.

I wouldn't say it's causing a "muddy" look. It still looks awesome.

Personally, a matte finish is worth having even if it does get slightly shinier in spots where it is in constant contact with me. It feel great to the touch and very resistant to fingerprints/smudges.

I just entered this forum and wanted to post a similar question about my majesty. I have no polishing effect on the white colored body, but the chrome-parts at the bridge get a kind of polishing-effect. Where my palm rests at the bridge the chrome is "polished" blank in the area of the low E. See attachment.

In fact it does not look bad, I just didn't expect it and was a little bit surprised.

Crataegus - that's called "mojo" right there - your guitar now has it and isn't a case queen - keep up the good work! :)
