MusicMan Newbie!!

I've just taken receipt of my first ever Music Man bass; a rather attractive Stingray 5 (H) in carbon blue pearl with matching headstock and an abalone pickguard. Got it from ebay for £700 (fairly cheap for over here in England!)

I'm sorry these are just the ebay pictures, my camera phone gave up the ghost a while ago!

In terms of what I've done musically, I'm currently in my third ever band (I'm 20) Aliquot Flow: http://www.myspace.com/aliquotflow

I've done other stuff, too, but I feel most accomplished in this music and hopefully my new 'Ray will beef it up nicely!

Thanks, I will! I'd not been a fan of the Stingray 5s because of their pickguard shape, but then I saw this one and all of a sudden I knew I had to buy it.. blowing my student loan in the process =]

i didnt buy any book 3 out of 4 of my years in college. true story, i swear! problem with having books is youre kinda obliagetd to study and all that other crap that gets in the way of having fun in college.

True, Uni, as in life, is about sex, drugs and rock and roll. Now I have a bass that compliments these. It is sexual, I can play rock and roll on it and the scratchplate is kinda psychadelic! (OK, I was clutching at straws for the last one )

I really like the matching headstock on your SR5. The logo are highly visible with this color.
