Somebody take a field trip over to this store and beat the manager over the head with it.hmz said:I was at the Carle Place store in NY.

The weather in NYC isn't too different from the weather in Pittsburgh. It's been one crazy winter here, temperature-wise. We'll see a 40-degree temperature drop from one day to the next. January was downright balmy this year, only to have February come along and bring the freeze with a vengeance.
I can see how any instrument left in a delivery vehicle for any length of time wouldn't stand a chance in this winter of extremes. Certainly any guitar being shipped to the east coast this winter needs a little extra attention after it's had some time to adjust to the conditions here. Especially those guitars with our beloved unfinished necks.
I had to take some bow out of my Y2D after it was here about a week. It's been perfect ever since.
I thought cement shoes was the standard M.O.Big Poppa said:we will get with these Carle Place guys...Do you have a local source for knee braces?

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I have a small question...
I was curious as to why EBMM recommends Duracell batteries. Other well-known bass makers, such as Roger Sadowsky, use Duracell as well...
Are they more supportive of instrument electronics as opposed to Energizer and others?
...Just curious...
