The EVH is a great guitar, don't get me wrong - but it's more valuable because it's got a famous guitarist's name on the headstock and it's discontinued and thus scarce. It's not really a better guitar (unless glancing over at ed's autograph on the headstock just gives you extra gusto when you're shredding or something), it costs more because of the market.

To me, the AL is the best EBMM, but that's just my personal preference. The only way I would ever buy an EVH is if I found one for substantially less than market value - then I'd sell it. I'm sure it's a fine guitar, but it doesn't interest me at all.

Easy question - MINE! :p

Seriously, whichever one anyone happens to be playing at the moment. Definitely.
Before I read that I was going to say the SiLhOuette but instead I'm gonna agree with you instead.

NorM is currently playing.....

theyre all great... i know generic answer.

but they are pretty different. i have a luke, jp6, ass mm90 and an AL and i reach for them for different reasons. usually when im playing ill play one for a bit, then ill get the bug to play xyz style and grab the next one... play for a while, then get another bug to play metal and grab the jp, then some clean and i gran the AL and on n on

im a fan of then all.

maybe i should get another one :)

what a shameful day! See, one of my students said to me last week "how come you dont bring in any of your fenders anymore, all you play are the Music Mans?" so i brought one in, but had my Y2D and 20th silo close by. by the end of the day i had packed the strat away, never to be seen until i get dared again to bring it in.

i hope my membership is still accepted when i buy an AL, even though i have grossly crossed the line between good and evil. *sobbs*

There, there. There is forgiveness, my son. But you will have to atone through personal sacrifice. Now give those Fenders to me and I will give them to the poor, or else sell them on evil bay so I can buy more Balls… for the good of humanity, of course.
