I have a late 80's early 90's Sting Ray. It has the EB logo on the headstock. It also has thumbscrews on the bridge that I know are remnants of the muting system. I'd like to find out where I can get the angled pieces of metal and foam pads that make up the rest of the system. Can anyone help me? By the way it's a custom orange/peach color with a white pickgaurd, hence the Creamsicle.

The Foam pads and metal supports have been discontinued for about 10 years now. We had the mute pads up until 3 years ago.

Guys have been getting creative and using window stripping(Black) among other things to use as the mute pads.

Black computer mouse pads, cut to size and attached with double sided tape come up good also.

Although parts have been discontinued, you may get lucky if you phone and ask to speak to a tech. There may be some old parts around in a junk box. One of the other guys on the Forum had success that way recently.
