Help! MVP volume pedal with tuner not working

I can't see how this workhorse could be dead. I found 3 things inside that could have went bad excluding the inputs and outputs which I tested. 1 resistor, 1 Pot and 1 switch. The resistor looked good and showed continuity. The pot seemed to show variable resistance when I operated the pedal and the switch seemed good when tested. Does anybody know a foolproof way of testing this thing? I tested everything with different cords and instruments just to make sure. Tested with a Fluke multi-meter
