Wow!!! 10,000 posts. That's a pretty cool milestone. And how many of those were to tell people not to send you PM's.
Congrats on 10,000!!!! It's been an absolute pleasure communicating with you and the rest of the knuckleheads since I joined. I'm not sure why, but I still find it a little shocking that an owner of a company takes this much time to communicate with all of us. Especially, 10,000 times. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find another owner of a company or anyone involved in another company that have 1 post on their forums. Let alone 10,000. But you have a passion for the company you run and the products you make. And it shows.
Thanks for your insight, and the cool stories you've given us in the past. They've been a pleasure to read. And thanks for giving us an inside look into EBMM......behind-the-scenes info, prototype pics, etc.
Thanks BP. I love your instrument. I will be buying more of them. Thanks for giving us something different in a world of fenders, gibson, and ibanezes..
Great Post! In just a few short months, I've gone from a casual lurker to an absolute devoted fanatic which led to me taking a job with a local music store with the sole purpose of spreading the word about some of the best guitars I've played and some of the best people I've ever known. Sterling, you're truly an inspiration.
Thanks for hangin' with us and sharing!
Funny news:
After I get a decent amp to go with my JP, I'll be saving up for a new guitar. I'm trying to decide between a White Silo Spec/White Pearloid guard, a PBB AL, a PBB ASS, or a Blueburst Morse.
Here's the funny part:
I haven't actually tried out any of those guitars.....
=D
Hey Big Poppa,
Congratulations on the big 10,000, that is something. I'll probably never get close to that many posts, but if they counted how many times I stop by to read up on things, see how everyone is doing, and also peak in to read your interesting stories and life experiences, I would get close.
So thank you for providing this fun forum and for keeping it a place that everyone can enjoy. It's like Koogs says, (Koogs, I owe you a nickle) "Welcome to the Addiction" it is an addiction. So again, thank you for sharing your life and your experiences with all of us. And thank you so much for giving me a couple of the best vacations I could possibly have, allowing us to get a big glimpse into behind the scenes of production and letting us all "Party like a Rock Star"!
Damn, I'm late to the party, you're already at 10 005! Anyway, congrats on the milestone!
I've been a member for a few months now and although I don't post that often, (I guess if I don't have anything interesting to say, I won't say it) I drop by most days to see what's happening in the Music Man universe and love it when I come across another fascinating story you've posted or to find some old photos pulled from the archive, allowing us a peek into your world.
I cant tell you how much respect i have for you and the whole organization ,from meeting you in person and you knowing who i was to hanging with the artists ...its been awesome, my Nutrition buisness is being sold and i have been crazy busy with pedals and amps and the Music Store so maybe i will get 10,000 soon hahahah
all the best BP and CHEERS ....to 10,000 more!
This forum never ceases to amaze me. The people here are genuine and take a real interest in the other members. Rarely do you see a derogatory post about someone. You have managed to create a community of liked minded individuals who welcome everyone with open arms and support each other to an incredible level.
Personally, with my injury, I was surprised to receive such legitimate support from people, most of whom I have never met. It's comforting to know that there are still good people in this world.
You and your staff set the example and the rest of the fine individuals on this forum are more than happy to come along for a wonderful ride, sharing experience, anecdotes, and knowledge.
