thats lovely. I always thought you an AL man Pug so looking back a couple of weeks was your complimentary post on my rather fetching black Morse more than just an appreciation of a fine looking guitar ? - is it because you were waiting on this beauty and getting all Morsed up in the process:D

I think I was the first one to behold a shot of this beauty, but it only looked as best as a Blackberry screen would allow.

Now that I'm home from work, and I actually see this on the Web, I guess I can honestly say: "Rich, what the hell are you thinking, letting your kid wear a Lakers shirt??"

Oh, and nice guitar too, by the way... :D

It's a thing of beauty, Rich. Couldn't be happier for ya, buddy. Hope with the new fiddle and Mr Morse's advice it works out for ya!

Thanks for all the kind words about my new guitar and thanks for the support as well !!

She is sexy isn't she? There is something about white that just emphasizes the beauty of an instrument.

I'm happy to report that after a nice 3 hr playing session last night, I am feeling no pain and just loving the sounds that are possible from this beauty. It's great to be able to play again.

BP, thanks again, and a special thanks to the paint crew over at EBMM. I'm sure they get plenty of well deserved praise for the wonderful BFR and LE finish work but this white is so beautiful that I would like to tip my hat to them.

Dizz, it is pretty strange how similar the pic of your Silo and my Morse is, looks like they were almost taken at the same angle:eek:

Robelinda, the reason the Morse works better for me is because of the lack of a belly contour. I have to position my left hand/wrist a certain way in order to minimize the pain and the Morse body allows me to do so. If I play in the wrong position, the pain immediately intensifies, so imagine trying to play with the feeling of banging your funny bone only multiplied by 20 or so. I was lucky enough to play any EBMM that interested me at the Desert Bash and NAMM but I just kept returning to the Morse model. Don't get me wrong, I love the AL in all it's glory and am toying with the idea of making that my next EBMM, I will just have to add something to fill in the rear body contour (stiff foam perhaps) TwAn is making sure that my former AL is getting plenty of love too !!

Here's a mini review:

First off, I probably looked like a total geek while playing last night because I had the switching schematic in front of me. I did notice the versatility of the different pickup combinations. The humbuckers are just fierce and there's plenty of snap and twang with the single coils engaged. Since I am no longer a giging musician, the versatility of having one guitar that can basically do it all is incredible. She weighs in at around 7lbs (according to a bathroome scale) and features a nice dark rosewood board with a smattering of birdseye on the neck and that incredible EBMM neck finish. I run her through a 5150 half-stack so playing with gain lends itself to ungodly results.

Keith was nice enough to hook me up with a set of the new EBMM straplocks so that will finish her off perfectly. Despite the rumors, Keith is truly a great friend although he has become a text messaging maniac as of late. The guy has great seats for Laker games and yet he texts me because he sees Gilby Clarke sitting courtside (we still think he chose the wrong singer for that horribly failed Rockstar Supernova competition) He does go a little crazy if he happens to catch a glimpse of Eva Longorio-Parker as well:rolleyes:

I gladly accept my invitation to join the SMOC and will do my best to spread the word here in Vegas:D

Sorry for the long rant but as you can imagine, this Morse love affair has only just begun.
