Welcome to the roundup slinger....

We ride all types of EBMM Basses here. Being a Bongo rider myself, I can only smile and say "Yup" :)

So you skipped the Stingray, the Sterling and went right to the Bongo for your 1st? Massive breach of protocol. :D

Seriously, great choice. I just got another Bongo, my first in 2 or 3 years and I couldn't be happier.

Now about those pics........;)

sorry, guess I could have given the details.
4-string HH (I like 5's and 6's too, but they can retire the 4 string when they pry mine from my cold, dead hands)
colour looks like it is cabernet pearl (from comparing with the website)
shell pickguard
actually quite a nice looking bass
thinking of getting a moonstone p/g, just to have a couple of options
thinking the name "Vino" might suit it.

..and the Tony Levin imitation consisted of an octave pedal and a copy of "Secret World-Live"...I love "Sledgehammer" I'm thinking I may need to make some funk-fingers though.

I'll try to get pics in the next couple of days...already plotting to get Bongo #2.

you cannot have a better brand of bass in my opinion...at least with all the customer service backing the instruments...I know my 3 girls are out of warranty but they are solid as a rock and play and sound like a bass should...

congrats, you'll never look back

Welcome! In your honor I shall play my Bongo 4 HH tonight! OOps that one is in the shop for a setup. I'll go with the Bongo 5 H/S, Jewel hasn't had a night in a while.

Don't for get the pictures, its part of the EBMM mind control factor.
