My 2001 Pearl Blue ASS Has a Unique Neck!

I always thought that my '01 Pearl Blue ASS was unique and last week I found out that it was actually one of about 125 GC exclusive Pearl Blue Axis guitars produced as a limited run in 2001. In addition, I found out that the neck was also unique. I suspected that the neck on this ASS was a bit thinner than my other ASSes and Axis guitars but, a conversation with a fellow knucklehead confirmed it (since he had the same exact guitar - same production date 9/21/2001 and everything). I took some comparison pictures just to show everyone how the neck on this guitar is thinner than the necks on my other ASSes (not a huge difference but a noticeable one) - even the headstock is a bit thinner! I always thought that this guitar was pretty cool and I always loved how it felt but now, it's super cool!

To me, there really isn't a tone difference. There's just a slight feel and playability difference but you do feel it the moment you hold this awesome neck.

With this thread, I was hoping to find out some more info about these unique guitars and to see who else has them (I only know of one other ASS and one Axis).

Hey, I think that when you have something unique/different, why not share and talk about it. I'm not complaining about the neck difference just think it's pretty cool and wanted to know more about it.
