Also congrats on buying the new MARK V.i am thinking about getting one myself and am wondering about the versatility of it to cover alot of styles.
Can you offer me some advice?

trust me you need to go and try one out, these amps have alot of options when it comes to sounds, and you really need to try one out before buying one. i can thoroughly recommend it though, it will cover alot of styles. oh and the wattage selection is my favourite feature! 10, 45 or 90w! great for bedroom practicing :)

Super nice Silo Spec! Congrats.

A couple of these in acrylic black would look nice on it.

Best of luck to you mate.

I'll be honest, MIDI switching, Mesa Boogie and I have had some problems getting a long.

I hope that none of those complications go your way!

Rob when you're spending that kind of your hard earned on gear, don't be afraid to get the salesguy to help you set it up.

its not the setting up thats the problem, its whether i can switch the markV's channels using the g-major, ive ben doing some reading and mesa seem to use a different switching technique i guess you could call it which the g-major doesnt work with... but ive also read that people have got it working with the mk4... so we'll see what happens.
according to the TC electronic site you can cause damage to the switching system on the mesas if its not done right...

Best of luck to you mate.

cheers mate, i think ill just bite the bullet and get the axess electronics CFX4.. not too sure yet though. im still doing some research on the subject.

The TS9 and the silo special neck pup are a match made in heaven!

YES!! the silo seems perfectly suited to the ts9, i tried afew pedals today (vox satchurator, t-rex o/drive, ibanez t808, boss o/d pedals etc) and the ts9 came out way ahead of the others. just had the edge i was looking for :)
