Well, after owning a black sparkle steve morse model for about 3 years now and hardly ever playing it, I'm selling it to Bob (for $700) who I met at the Open House and has been a fan of steve's music even longer than I have.

He's buying it as a gift for a nephew who's graduating from grad school.

I just got the guitar back from JDOUGLEE who had it for a few months. I'm a fan of Doug's playing and wanted him to try it out. Doug was one of the first guys I met on this forum. His playing is very close to Luke's in style, and he's a very good composer as well.

In fact, doug just loaned me his "rare" burnt apple piezo Luke...which reeks of smoke so I can't even play it.

So I guess I won't be offering to buy it. Damn. One nice axe.
Maybe I'll "FEBREEZE" it. :D

The smoke smell should go after a few days. Hang it out in the garden!

No garden. Just some rotting vegetables in the fridge. :D

But I'll take it out of the "BALL SACK" for a few days to see if it helps any.

That breeze you feel is a sigh of relief from florida........

Wait...doesn't Steve live in Florida...and wouldn't a sigh of relief mean he's actually thankful I'll no longer own it. :(

The buyer (Bob) has already been in contact with him (he's a pilot also) and is very excited about being able to buy it.

And I guess it's nice to know this transaction has steve's blessing. :)

I knew you were.
I know he doesn't.
I think we were both being treated for the clap at that clinic.
I'm glad too.

I have a Jackson guitar that was like that. (Anyone want to buy a Jackson so I can get more EBMM's?)

I steel wooled all the yellow smoke crap off the neck and took the guitar apart and cleaned and polished it, and then left it out of the case, and put it on a wall hanger. That took care of it.

If the sale of the Morse guitar falls through, let me know. I'd be interested in picking it up!
