Performed at the Acoustic Lunch in Worcester today. Someone kindly posted a video of it on youtube. I used my ASS MM90, and a Peavey Delta Blues.

It came out alright in spite of my ongoing back and arm problems!

This is our drinking song... join in with the chorus...

Fantastic job! Sounds great! It's tight and the harmonies are good and the mix is good. The drummer is a rare find eh? Plays good, tempo seems spot on all the way through, fills are tasteful and in the right place, not too loud with sticks. (Sorry, I can't not ask - Boy George look-alike competition after the gig?)

And the guitar sounds great. Nicely played solo mate - very tasty!

Thanks for the kind words.

The drummer's great, just out of college, so quite a bit younger than us and a glam rocker at heart. But he takes on board the advice we give him and he seems to get on well with the folk rock thing. Plus we get to jam Motley Crue and stuff when we sound check

The album is coming along too. I just have to get my ASS into the studio over the Easter Break and record my guitar parts. All three of my Balls will be making an appearance on there.

Nice job and a great example of keeping the sound....and the position away from the acoustic player. Even with the dominant vocals and the acoustic, your arpeggios cut right through. Nice solo, sufficiently "held back"......as was mentioned to Luke recently about his recent album. Good job. Does your band have a website? I'm all of 12 miles from Worcester.

Thanks!

Website is here:

The official site for Chris Whiting - singer/songwriter

The song samples are pretty much demos, but we have an EP on iTunes & and a charity single. I like this band as we are just the 'backing band', so there's a lot less pressure on us.

We play in Worcester quite a lot, but we are from Walsall; the label manager is based in Worcester. We are on at the Worcester music festival in the summer (on Saturday 20th August), and I'm playing with my prog band on the Sunday. Should be a good weekend.

Do you gig in the Midlands?
