I think he sounds/looks alot like John Rzeznick of the Goo Goo Dolls, and he deffinatly has a bit of the Petty sound.
This is a quality music video, enjoyed it and the music!

Good observations guys- our singer John is heavily into Tom Petty and the Goo Goo Dolls- he even recorded a song off the cd in Johnny Rzeznick's studio.
