Nice setlist!

What, no Scorpions tunes? (Just don't play "the Zoo".. .because EVERY cover band plays that tune.)

Other bands that might fit into those sets:

Savatage, Dokken, Quiet Riot, Krokus, Racer X if you've got the chops...

and maybe throw in Grim Reaper's "See you in hell" for good measure. ;)

Yeah, Quiet Riot would be good for some "audience participation." So would Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It."

We are going to add some other tunes so when we play a lot in the same area its not the same songs over and over again. We wanted the meat of the sets to have Van Halen, Guns, Metallica, Ozzy, and Motley. Eventually we'll probably get to no more that 2-3 songs by any one band.

Funny thing you should mention the workout factor, it's harder on my brother who is the lead player, not that I can sleepwalk my way through any of my parts either, but we grew up playing Southern Rock with my uncle's and Black Sabbath and Metallica when they weren't around.

We've got some pretty good chops, in fact this whole band is really just a second job for us to help finance a move to Austin, TX to play more professionally.

I'd say throw in some AC/DC and maybe KISS as well.

My band plays Bathroom Wall and Ship Rolls In by Faster Pussycat, and those work well for us. Couple of Poison songs couldn't hurt as well.

All this whippasnappa's talk of Bon Jovi has rubbed off on ya, eh? :D

Been playin it since the 70's there son. Well maybe the 80's but ya know how us old folks forget.

That playlist would make for a good nights sleep after the gig. :)

Wow - it's my High School years all over again!

Very good stuff - another vote for some AC/DC & Kiss tunes.

Part of me wishes I could hook-up with a few younger dudes and belt-out this kind of stuff... :)

We're all pretty young guys, at least around here for the cover band stuff. My brother is 20 and I'm 25, singer is 26, other guitar player is 30 and our drummer is the old man at 33.

We'll probably throw in some Back in Black-era AC/DC and I want to do Cold Gin and maybe Deuce or Firehouse by KISS, we need play the sets out and time them out to see how much more time we need to fill and then we'll probably have to add a few tunes here and there.
