My bass is now a collector's piece

I own a carbon blue pearl bongo which had a black pickguard until today. I just installed the white ice pickguard I ordered before it got discontinued. I guess it's now a collector's piece since both the pickguard and the color are not available anymore!

It is, just not the right one. Beautiful, however.

Oh and I've joined the discontinued colour owners club with 'madame redrise'. Not a bongo, but would love to see a bongo that colour!!

I guess I'll have to join up too. I have a Rolls Burgundy Bongo HH with a tortoise pickgaurd. Bummer, Rolls Burg is or was a great color.
