Years ago my bro had a trans gold Axis that he liked, but he had another 2 hum bucker guitar at the time and I convinced him to sell the axis. This was a couple of years before I got my first stingray. What a fool was I! Over the last three years I've been trying to convince him to get another EBMM as penance and have come close on a few occasions but it was never the right time or right colour or phase of the moon. Well, those things aligned last week and he had me bid on this for him and we won. It arrived today.
His house is old and the wiring in the guitar room is hell on anything single coil. We were hoping that the silent circuit would take care of this and early reports are a success. Our buddy Strangeglow has a Stingray in is finish that I had originally bought, so he knew the colour was awesome in person.
