Hey kids.

I just figured that if anywhere my tale would be appreciated, this is the place...

I ended up getting rid of my Dr. Z amp today. I have hit a low point for my finances and simply could not afford to keep up payments how they were. I stressed over the last week about what to do. Should I get rid of... should I cut back on... should I try to...

I decided it this morning. There is absolutely no damned way I am getting rid of my Silhouette Special or taking my deposit off of the DD Luke. I figured... I have some friends that will lend me their amp if I need one for a show... so why have a three thousand dollar amp without the guitars I love?

I ended up walking out of the music store with a little Fender Pro Junior... I know I know... don't talk about Fender... but that's not the point of this little tale. The point is that I am so much in love with EBMM guitars that I will go without a real amp to afford my axes.

I guess... thanks EBMM for making such great guitars, but damn you all for making such great guitars. Hahahahaha.

I am doing the same thing, selling off equipment, some I use some I dont to get another EBMM ( 20th Silo). I too am going without a real amp to add to my Ball Collection but hell it is really worth it. Since I got my Luke I play longer ,harder and better. The rest will come later.

I decided that when the time is right, I will get another Dr. Z. The Delta 88 didn't have reverb, and an effects loops would have really been nice. I'll just wait a year or two and buy one of Brad Paisley's Prescription Ex heads and another 2x12.

the little Pro Junior sounds just fine for jamming it up at home. I all ready got an offer to have a friend's Mesa half stack lent to me because he "doesn't have time to play as much because of the bitches..." so I'm good to go. That is a direct quote by the way. hahaha.

I'd have been retarded to have given up my Balls. I've gone through every damned brand and finally found one that was worth the time and effort. Amps come and go, but my balls seem to want to hang around...

I have a similar story..I have a 91 Ibanez RG which was the first proper electric i bought on my own and it has been with me ever since. I am quite sentimentally attached to the guitar as it has so many memories attached to it and I swore I would keep hold of it forever.....until i got my Axis...then the other day i was seeing what I had that could go on ebay to help fund my next EBMM purchase and i didnt think twice about putting the RG on there

I would never sell my old early 90's Aris PE guitar. I made the mistake of selling it once, and I managed to buy it back. Mind you, its worth peanuts anyhow!
