My Dargie has arrived But......

Because the day it arrived I had to leave to go to Hong Kong for about a month for work so I had time to pick it up but no chance to play it or photograph it.

Scott, that's bewildering news. Any idea what the timeframe was from factory completion to arrival in Australia? I'm surprised that they've sent what appears to be just 1 Dargie to Australia when there are still a few more to roll off the line to be shipped to the same destination. I was told that it could take up to a month from the time my Dargie is packed and waiting in the loading dock until the next shipment to Australia, which means I'm looking at the end of April at least.

What model did you get?

Mark, last year my dealer asked once about the estimated completion time for one of my balls ( axis super sport i think), he told me it was still a month away from being finished. The next day it was in my hands! You never know mate!

Mark my Dargie is SR4 with matching Headstock I also ordered a unlined fretless sterling with matching HS but that hasn't arrived Also the Basscentre ordered a SR4 with matching HS dual humbucker which hasn't arrived yet either.

Ashiin thanks for the offer man but I am working my A%Ê off at the moment and all I do is sleep and work - also besides Tom lee any other music stores in HK? maybe if I am still here when you get back from Italy??

Tom Lee is probably the only music store there is. There is another one called Parson's but it is just basically cheap fender/gibson ripoffs.

I will be leaving tomorrow night to italy, i'll return on the 24th.

If you wanna check out some basses, i recommend you go to the Tom Lee in Tsim Tsa Tsui and Wan Chai.

I myself go to the Wan Chai one a lot, and that's where i ordered my 20th. The TST store is the main store so it has more stuff(there's a 30th there right nowif you want one!)

Thanks Scott, but I cooked up some new mutes earlier this week based on Gav's recipe, and they do the trick nicely.

I remember there's a StingrayHH, sunburst finish with matching headstock in wan chai, kinda had my eyes on that but decided to go with the 20th sr5. But hey i played around with it and it was pretty good.
